Blog vs Food

I know I was supposed to be talking about food that I’ve personally eaten or whatever, but I’ve had this massive craving for tobiko sushi for absolutely months, and whenever I go out for sushi they’re the first thing I order.

The product in concern is this (I apologise for the arty farty flickr photo)

It’s flying fish roe sushi and it’s an unbelievable taste. Off the bat, the idea of this is pretty horrible, but the roe (which is unfertilised fish eggs) is incredibly sweet, and they burst in your mouth as you eat them. It’s an incredible experience to try, even if it is just to say you have, but chances are, you’ll love them.
