&lt;p&gt;My mum bought a popcorn maker about a month or so ago and popcorn has since become a staple in our house. I made a basic caramel using butter and golden syrup and shook it through the popcorn before putting a pinch of salt on top to bring out the flavour.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="http://johnnyzoidberg.tumblr.com"&gt;Joe&lt;/a&gt; decided he’d make some iced tea earlier today too, he brewed a massive jug of english breakfast tea and added sugar to the warm tea, before adding lemon juice to the tea and leaving it to cool in the fridge for a few hours.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Naturally I decided adding whiskey would be a good idea, and I had a nice midnight snack.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Ingredients:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1/2 cup peanut butter&lt;br/&gt;1/4 cup butter&lt;br/&gt;1 cup chocolate chips&lt;br/&gt;1/2 teaspoon vanilla&lt;br/&gt;9 cups crisp square cereal&lt;br/&gt;3 cups powdered sugar&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Instructions:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1. Combine peanut butter, butter and chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2. Microwave for one minute then stir to blend all ingredients thoroughly. Add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Stir well.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;3. Place the 9 cups of any brand crisp square cereal in a very large bowl.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;4. Pour the peanut butter-chocolate mixture over the cereal and toss evenly, making sure all the cereal gets a good covering.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;5. Place the powdered sugar in a large zip-lock type plastic bag.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;6. Add the peanut butter-chocolate cereal mixture to the bag, leaving enough room for the puppy chow to be shaken (you may have to divide the mixture into smaller batches, coating one batch at a time).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;7. Shake the bag vigorously to evenly coat each piece of the puppy chow with powdered sugar.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;8. Coat any additional pieces by shaking the mixture in the powdered sugar filled bag.  Add powdered sugar to the bag as needed until all the mixture is coated.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;9. &lt;p&gt;Therefore, a packed lunch was in order&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So we bought lots of deli meats, cheese, sun dried tomatoes and beetroot, as well as mixed salad and put it on to a cob roll to make a Muffelata.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;when we assembled the sandwich we weighted it down with a few trays and pans to make all of the layers fuse into one and make the sandwich easier to wrap. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I decided to go posh one day when I had a shop at waitrose, ironically I’m a student, but I felt like being a gourmet for a day, and yes it is quite a posh meal but it was gorgeous.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Sautee mushrooms in a pan with garlic and olive oil, while grilling the asparagus, fry off some cubes of pancetta until crisp, and roast the lamb in the oven with rosemary.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;To present, lay the mushrooms over the lamb steak, cooked to your liking, and lay the asparagus in a line, with bacon over the top and a sprinkling or a shaving of Parmesan cheese. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;My family has often enjoyed the traditional “Friday night pizza”, but recently ordering out ever Friday has become rather expensive. In order to maintain our tradition but also keep money in our wallets, we’ve adopted a new tradition of making our own pizza. As it’s summer, we’ve adapted our usual recipe for home made pizza in our oven to use on our barbecue.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Ingredients:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;1 pre made pizza dough or 1 box of pizza dough mix (we tend to use pre made dough but I’m sure a boxed mix would work just fine too)&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;1 can or container of pizza sauce&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;2 cups (approximate, but it’s really up to your preference) of a mix of mozzarella and parmesan cheeses&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;any toppings you wish&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;You will also need a grill pizza pan, which will have holes in the bottom of it, and cooking spray.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Preheat your grill to its medium setting. The temperature isn’t so important, but you don’t want it too high.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Start by spraying the pan, on top of a sheet of tin foil so you don’t get the spray everywhere, and coat your hands so they don’t stick to the dough as you stretch it. Stretch the dough from the center outward, making sure to be careful of tearing. Leave a good amount of dough around the edge for the crust, and place into your pan once it is the correct size. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Use a large spoon to spoon your desired amount of sauce into the center of the dough, and spread it out from the center in a clockwise (or counterclockwise, it doesn’t matter which) manner until the sauce is distributed evenly. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Sprinkle the cheese on your pizza until satisfied. Keep in mind, more cheese means more grease. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Place your pizza on the grill and close it for about ten minutes, keeping an eye on it. Once it starts to firm up, place your toppings on. This keeps the pizza from getting too soggy with the extra weight and water if you’re using veggies. Continue periodically checking on it until the bottom is a dark brown and crispy and your cheese is melted. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Remove pizza and let cool before slicing.&lt;/p&gt;
